Here we are at the beginning of my journey to a healthier me. I promised to list my weight, waist circumference (this is important to me because of heart health) and to post a photo of myself as of today. So, here goes:
June 1st: 134 lbs / waist 33 1/2"

Now to some, this might seem great. You may think I'm blowing things totally out of proportion, however, I have a very small frame and stand just under 5 feet tall. (Something like 4'11 3/4" so I round up.) With heart disease on both sides of my family...I need to get this under control. Not to mention the diabetes that runs on both sides also. Just last year after having Aubrey I only weighted 115 lbs. and believe it or not, had a smaller waist too.
Today I did do my walk and I've been watching what goes in the mouth. I've been drinking water all day. (I must admit, I just poured myself a glass of Diet Dr. Pepper.) Dinner will be eaten shortly and yoga done about three hours later (before bed). Day one is off to a good start!
