New Projects to Share

If you have been around to see the changes to Club Anya of The Greeting Farm, then you know they had a really great challenge this weekend. Club Anya is now Club Anya and Friends. DCRU is selling the brand new Anya WS set that was just release on the 1st. Oh, these are so cute. If you are new to Anyas this is a great way to get started. Now,I don't have any of these great newbies yet, but I do have a few and you can see them below.

2010 Calendar Using 2 Colors you don't normally work with

Altered Journal use Ribbon or Bow on a Project

Ad Inspired Challenge

Bling it up challenge - I went modest on this one. Only four rhinestones.

Sew Challenge - Did machine stitching around matting

This was for the masking challenge. Something I've never done but will do again.

For the sparkle challenge-had to use glitter. I used glitter papers and stickles. Also a couple of rhinestones.

Now this was a bit challenging for me. Color challenge...green, cream, gray and pink. It was a struggle for me but I really liked the results.

For the Flower Challenge. Cut a window with a flower shape. Used a flower to "mat" behind the Anya and then surrounded them with little flowers. Also the obvious flower on the front. The leaves are petals of a flower stamp that I "plucked" and crimped at the ends to give the leaf effect. I love this one.

Todd's favorite. (Yes, he looked them all over.) Tag It Challenge! Use a tag on your project.

Here is a fav of mine. The Shape Challenge. You had to make a card in an unusual shape. I used a template from Whimsie Doodles. The snowglobe is something I like and this was so fun for me to decorate. The little polar bear is darling and you can find her and her family over at Angel's Landing.

If you are a Twilight follower you may just love this one. My daughter, Anna did! Black Tie Challenge: use black and white with one other color. I chose red. Red is so bold that I didn't want to go overboard, so I did "Bella's" dress and "Edward's" tie in reds, then added red rhinestones on the corners. Just enough color to keep it from being bland.

I hope you enjoyed looking at all of my weekend projects. I had so much fun playing with my stamps and putting these together. I'm so glad that I played along and that Todd was a good sport and didn't fuss at me for crafting too much.

Now, don't forget to come back this Thursday for the Busy Little Hands Challenge. I will have a guest designer debuting here and I think we will all enjoy her work.

I will also have some very new site info updated on my sidebar that you will want to check out.

Keep your hands busy!

Smiles!
Gwen
