Well here we are again ready to share some really fun sponsors with you and also some
really fun challenges.
Our sponsor is Fox and Robbers. They have provided some really great tags that you can see on opposite corners of my LO. Please stop by the shop and say hello. You can get there by clicking on the Fox and Robbers link below.
A word from our sponsor Desiree of Foxes and Robbers:
Hi, my name is Desiree, a.k.a. Foxes and Robbers. I have a background in architecture and art history, although in my professional life, I’m not pursuing either. I have always been a very hands-on person, I love making one-of-a-kind gifts for my friends and loved ones. In fact, I’m sure my parents still have a box full of cards and things I made for them when I was a kid!
I opened Foxes and Robbers on Etsy in Sept 2009 as both a side business and a way for me to channel my artistic energy. This company is very close to my heart because it represents a turning point in my life. I had abandoned the artistic path many years ago to pursue other interests, but in the end, I realize that creating beautiful items for others is what I love to do! Thus, born Foxes and Robbers.
The idea behind my products is that the smallest detail counts on any and every present you give. The gift tag should always be the last thing that completes the whole package, otherwise, it’ll be like wearing a beautiful evening gown with some beat-up sneakers!
The style of Foxes and Robbers is using vintage elements with a modern twist. All the aging treatments are individually done by hand, and all items are cut by me. Another design element that is important to me is that I try to stay away from words as much as I can, for I believe that the uniqueness of my products will help the buyer make it their own by creating inventive uses for them!
You can see the little SMC Friday Freebie on the lower left corner of my LO...what a fun embellishment for sew many projects. The Friday Freebie is available at http://www.sewmanycards.com/ stop by and pick it up while you can.
Our second part of the weekly challenge has to do with VERTICAL JOURNALING.
Using the image of Ollivia in Egg and Baby on Moon from the SMC Store I put together this cute double LO. Wondering what papers and stickers I used? More Bo Bunny products...aren't they just adorable!
On this poem I listed the title as "ADORE" and used the word in a vertical direction.
In this picture you can see the age of my little Diva Aubrey in a vertical direction.
Here is the complete lay out done in 8x8 size.
Are you up for some fun? Join in the challenge at the Sew Many Cards Lay Outs Challenge Blog. While you are there take a peek at the other DT works of art...
