Owl Be Seeing You...

This is my last card for 2Cute Rubber Stamps. I've got to cut back on my DT work and sadly had to say goodbye to Heidi, Sammye Jo and the girls. They've all been wonderful to work with, so have Heidi's images. I wish everyone the best and hope to see you all around this crafty blogger world.

Its a beautiful day here in Ohio, warm, soon to be hot, but we've got a wonderful breeze and blues skies. If you lived in Ohio, you'd understand the beautiful blue sky comment...our skies are gray 85% of the time around here. BLAH!

So, I decided to BEE-UTIFY my card for the day with a special little guy that really makes me smile. One, because he is so darn cute. Two, because my grandfather (who I miss dearly) was a bee keeper. I'm so glad Heidi created this image, I really think he is a favorite right now and one that I'll use many, many times.

I really wish that I had more light on the porch...you can't see how pretty the glittered embossing powder looks at the bottom edge of the card. Oh, and a note to all of you crafters out there...silver, is not a suitable replacement for your opaque white pens, as you can see on my little bee's wings and other highlights. UGH! Well, live and learn, right? Either way I think it is super cute and I hope you pay a visit to this link: HERE so that you can pick up one of Heidi's super cute images.

You will be delighted that you did.

2 Cute Rubber Stamps - Owl Card

My niece, Jenna, is up from Florida. She spent the night Thursday and again last night. We were talking about some of her favorite things and she said she loves owls. When I picked my image from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps I chose one that would be good for her. This adorable little owl that Heidi designed. I girled it up a bit for Jenna so it would appeal to her more. We all really like it and I hope you do too.

Little Fire Girl Thank You...

Yesterday we spent the morning touring the Washington Court House Fire Dept. Our guide was so patient with all of the kids and wonderful about explaining things on terms they could understand. He was even patient with me and my picture taking...not to mention my questions.

All the kids had a fantastic time looking over the trucks, sitting in the truck and even spraying some water from a hose...just like a real fire fighter. The trip was a HUGE success!

I decided to make a special "Thank You" card to send to these everyday heroes. Heidi at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps has the perfect little image to use on my card too. A little girl dressed in fire fighting gear, click HERE to see her. So, cute...really!

Happy Little Cowboy

My card for 2 Cute Rubber Stamps this week was inspired by a little buck-a-roo named Lennon. I came across a post which gave information regarding this sweet little four year old boy. He has malignant tumors in his brain and spine and is in the hospital undergoing chemo therapy treatments.

Lennon's grand-mother is with Pages in Time and is taking cards to him. Well, I have a four year old and we both wanted to create something to send to him. We have another card that we will be sending later. Since the little guy will be in the hospital for a while his G-ma is asking that if you want to send mulitple cards, you spread them out about a week.

So, here is our first card going out to little Lennon...

Isn't this little cowboy kid adorable! He is one of Heidi's designs from the 2 Cute Rubber Stamp Collection. There is another image that is a close up of this little rootin-tootin cowboy and he will grace our next card. Stop back and check it out next Saturday!

If you would like to send Lennon a card too...here is the address...

I'm sure any card would be appreciated.

2 Cute Rubber Stamps - Manatee Friends

Hello there to all of my crafty friends in blog-land!

As I'm typing this post it is still Friday and I spent my morning at a local beach with my three daughters and the twins that I care for. We had a wonderful time building sandcastles and lunching at the Deer Creek State Park. The sun was hiding but managed to bake me and then I had tons of errands to run...what a day!

I knew I had a post for 2 Cute Rubber Stamps due for Saturday and I just couldn't feel anything jump out at me. You know how sometimes when you are super tired from a fantastic day and you really want to create something special but your mojo seems to be taking a nap? Well, that was the state I found myself in until I came across Manatee Friends. This little image just grabbed me! It is so cute and fun and reminded of me of the day I'd spent with my little ones playing, laughing and being silly.

I found inspiration in this wonderful image from Heidi at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps and I hope you will too.

Thank You Kitty from 2 Cute Stamps

Here is my first official card for the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT. I used a little image called Thank You Kitty. This is a darling image and I thought it might bring some cheer to my little Bekah who has been pretty ill the past few days. So, I used the image to create this little get well card.

Here is Bekah before getting her card. She's all propped up on her pillows and watching a DVD. Looks thrilled huh? She's not vomitting any longer but her fever is still giving us fits. We are trying to keep her hydrated right now. She'd just finished eating a popcicle.

Here she is opening her card...

This is her looking at the cute little image...

She seemed very pleased with her get well card. That makes my heart happy. I think it made her heart happy too.

2 Cute Stamps Guest Designer

Wow! I'm just feeling so creatively blessed this week. My cards are getting noticed and I've been asked to GDT on a few different teams, including the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT! They were generous and sent me three different images to work with. Here is one project I've done for them...stay tuned...

there will be more...

This little friendly guy was colored with Copic Markers. I used my Spellbinder Label 1 dies to cut him out and also mat him. The papers are from a package I got off of HSN...can't remember the company but they are all tropical and were perfect for this little crab's new home.

The inside sentiment says, "Sending you Sunshine".

You can find this adorable little fellow and so many more at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. Stop on over and check them out. If you want to see the post I'm in just click HERE and you will be there.

Smiles!
